Request for 2025 Funding Interest

Konza United Way invests in the highest quality programs that make measurable progress toward advancing the common good through Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Community Resiliency, and Financial Security of individuals/families of our region.

This is a competitive application process. Applications are evaluated by a dedicated group of community volunteers. The recommendations of these volunteers are reviewed and approved by the Konza United Way Board of Directors.

Review the criteria to determine funding eligibility. Eligible programs must meet the following criteria:

Organization is a 501(c)(3) .

Program operates within the Konza United Way service area (Riley, Clay, Pottawatomie Marshall, Washington and Wabaunsee).

Program aligns with United Way’s strategies in Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Community Resiliency, and Financial Security. NOTE: United Way does not fund grants to individuals, art/cultural organizations, animal services, capital needs or environmental concerns.

Organization must not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion, disability, medical condition, sex or gender (including pregnancy), gender identity and/or expression (including transgender identity), sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.

Complete and submit the following documentation by the May 31, 2024 deadline:

Completed grant application

Budget Worksheet
-
Signed Anti-Terrorism Compliance Measures form

Copy of complete financial statement of the Agency's most recent fiscal year

Copy of the Agency's most recent IRS 990 (if the organization files one)
All 2025 Program Grant online applications are due via the grant portal online system no later than 11:59 PM on Friday, May 31, 2024.

If your organization is applying for funding for more than one program, please complete a separate application for each program. This is a competitive process; receipt of your application does not guarantee your organization's funding in 2025.

The "Statement of Agreement and Self Support Policy" for Konza United Way Funding must be reviewed and acknowledged prior to submission of the completed application. Acknowledgement is captured in the first question of the grant application.
